SEMA

We had a great trip to the Specialty Equipment Market Association, SEMA, show down in Las Vegas.  The show was HUGE!  Three huge convention centers and all the outdoors of them too.  I think the coolest part was getting to meet the three guys Bryce has looked up to most that helped inspire him to pursue his car passion: Chip Foose from Overhaulin, Troy Trepanier of Rad rides by Troy, and Dave Kindig of Kindig It Design.

He got the autographs of all three :). Bryce also got to sign the Wyotech banner as a "Grad Turned Pro". It was pretty cool and the Wyotech reps were all really impressed he works for Dave Kindig.  I'm so proud of all of Bryce's hard work.

He is also now an official member of the Kindig It Design Team.  They had told us he would be on probation for 90 days but they went ahead and made it official a month early and offered him a raise :). I am so glad they recognize the skill and work ethics Bryce has.  We are so blessed.

The best part about Vegas was the Bellagio of course.  We saw two fountain shows, one during the day and one at night, walked through the beautiful gardens, and ate at Jean Phillips... YUM!

In one of those bags is an M&M onsie :)... Our little boy is going to look like the yummiest little M&M when he fits into six month old clothes.

Even though it's cold we are loving being in Utah and getting to spend time with family and we always love visiting the girls!

Our house finally was approved by the bank at the first of the month and we are to be closing on the 29th.  There could still be some possible hiccups but we are hopeful and very excited that this will be the place to start our family.  Our sweet little baby boy is still just growing and moving.  It's so fun to feel him in there and Bryce has even been able to feel him too :).  Here's me day one of week 23!

I'm still feeling great and so blessed to be pregnant.  We pray every day he will grow healthy and strong!

We would love to see some updates from the rest of you lovely ladies.  Love you all so much!

Ross Family is Moving!

Well summer is almost over and it has been great! So fun seeing family :)
Jordan is still really busy with school and work and his classes are going well. We especially like Thursdays when he gets to stay home with us and do homework.

I'm having another baby shower this week and hoping that a few more of my friends will be able to come. I love having an excuse to get together and just visit.

Jordan and I bought a townhouse! This is a view from the outside. I'll post pictures when we move in about mid October. Its two level, 1 1/2 bathrooms, three bedrooms, and comes with all of the kitchen appliances. We are still working on getting a washer and dryer but we bought a sweet black vynl couch off KSL for $10 and last night we picked up a nice king size mattress and box spring from a couple in South Jordan for free! I love FREE things! Its really nice when we know we are going to need to be on a tight budget with all these new expenses. :)

This is my little cutie looking all patriotic for September 11th.

Jordan said we should frame this one. She is just so stinkin adorable. She is rocking her new kicks that Grandpa Ross got for her. He sure likes to spoil

We gave her a piece of corn to feed to the horses and she more just teased them with it. :)

And last but not least, I am 35 weeks along. Can't believe I only have 5 weeks left! The doctor will be checking my progress on Thursday so we'll see how it goes! We are very excited for this little one to join our family. We are so richly blessed.

We're Coming Home!!

It will have been exactly one year and we are coming home :). I am so proud of Bryce for getting a job with Kindig It Design.  This is pretty much the only shop I actually knew because we have loved his cars at all the car shows.  His company is huge and doing really well so we won't have to worry about job security with it.  The owner is also super nice and seems to really take care of his employees.  It's the perfect job for us and we're so excited.  Bryce will officially start on September 4th.  You're welcome to check out the shop and see some of their stuff - super slick designs.  www.kindigit.com

My coworkers are so sad that I am leaving but we're enjoying my last couple weeks.  My two fellow ACMs took me out for a mani pedi this weekend.  I was so spoiled; I got s hot rock massage and wax treatment and everything :)

They told all the ladies that I am pregnant and moving so they were all so nice to me :). Oh and yes, PS we are pregnant.  We haven't started announcing it on Facebook so it's still not common knowledge to everyone but once we move back and have an appointment with a doctor we'll hopefully have some ultrasound pictures to post and then we will share with all :)

Things are going pretty great though.  I haven't had any morning sickness at all and my work is so excited for us.  I am still trying to convince them to let me stay on with the company and work from home :). We have two weeks for Bryce to get our apartment all packed up and cleaned while I'm at work and I'm sure it won't take more than a couple days since we don't have much stuff out here.  We're super excited to be going back home and be with family, but not so excited that it is right before winter... Lots of fun changes coming up so we'll keep you posted!

Love you all!

Getting Ready for Change

I am positive that I can't be the only one in this family who has things to post about so the rest of you need to get to work!!! This is not the Ross Family Blog. ;)

We are still working on finishing this room as a bedroom for Ellie. We want her to be able to move into her new room as early as possible so that that is one less change for her to have to adapt to when the baby comes. We are still in the mudding and sanding process but hope to finish that soon and move on to painting!

Ellie is growing up so fast! She had her 15 month check up last week and he said she looks great! She weighs about 22 lbs and is about 31 inches long. She had to get 3 shots which is never fun but the nurse gave her her first sucker ever and she enjoyed that. I am glad she chose a clear/white flavor of dum dum because Ellie was oozing sucker slime everywhere!

At the doctor's appointment he asked if Ellie could eat with a spoon and fork, messy, but that she knew to bring it to her mouth. I said yes but decided that that is something we better practice more so I let her adventure into trying to eat cereal by herself. It was an amusing experience. It sure would be nice though if she could feed herself well by the time her sister arrives!

Last week we also had Jordan's work party. Ellie had fun swinging before we ate. She loves play time with dad! I got to meet a few people that he works with and that is good because they offered him a job for after his internship!!! Yay! They told him to just tell them when he wants to work and how much which is really nice since he will be starting school at U of U on August 26th. He is going to be one busy man and I'm pretty sure life is going to just keep getting crazier.

I am 30 weeks along which means only 10 weeks to go! Can't believe how fast time flies. I'm sure the baby will be here before we know it! We still haven't decided on a name yet... maybe we will just have to wait until she comes out. Pictured below I am wearing one of Great Grandma Ellie's dresses. I got lots of compliments on it. :)

When the baby starts to move a lot is probably my favorite thing about pregnancy. It makes the whole thing more real. And I love when she moves enough that Jordan can feel her. Those are happy parenting moments! Yesterday she was acting like I was a bounce house and I got it on video. Hopefully you can tell the diffence between me breathing and her leaping around!

It was a blast having the Findley's visit and hope to see them again soon. Congrats on getting to teach seminary again Ruby! Good luck to Bryce on his trial work and interview. We are excited to see what the near future holds for the Green Family! Congrats again on your baby news! Good luck to Charley and Ashley as school starts up again. Love you all!

So fun being a momma!

Well I haven't posted in a while so I thought it was about time. Its been about a month that I have been enjoying being a stay at home mom. At first I was a little bored because I am used to being go go go but I have been doing a pretty good job of keeping busy. The problem now is that I have to remember to "take it easy" otherwise the little one inside tells me that I am working too hard and that's not very fun! I don't remember being this easily worn down last pregnancy but I was recallinging that for a while I had pneumonia so I might have naturally been taking things easier. Or maybe this little one is just a little more sensitive. :)

Jordan's internship is going great. He really enjoys the people he works with and all the experience he is getting. His internship is about half way over but we are expecting a job offer at the conclusion. He's thinking he would like to do part time work with full time school but we will have to see how things play out.

In our free time we are starting to work on finishing the "play room" as a new room for either Ellie or the baby. Not sure which one yet but I am looking forward to getting to decorate since I haven't really gotten to do that with Ellie's current room. Good thing Jordan is so handy so he can do a bunch of the room by himself or just ask for a few tips from either of our parents.

I know Jordan misses Ellie all day but I try to send him lots of pictures and texts reminding him that we love him. It also helps me to remember to document lots of Ellie so here is one of her after just waking up and eating some Cheerios.

She is so stinking cute!

This little girl just loves to chat all day and its adorable. This was just one morning laying on the bed. :)

Ellie has been walking for about 2 weeks now and she is a pro! She loves to just roam around the house so I have to keep things nice and tidy and kid proof. I'm sure some people would laugh seeing all of our kitchen rags being strung through the cabinet handles to keep them closed but it works!

We had a fun 4th of July spent with the Ross and Holman families. We went to a parade in Murray and then lounged at Justine and Eric's house playing cards and such until BBQ time. All of the food was delicious. I was in charge of dessert so I make blue cupcakes with white frosting and red sprinkles. The picture didn't turn out that great but here it is.

Isn't she just adorable in her 4th of July outfit that mom got for her? Spoiled. Spoiled.

By this time she did not want to get her picture taken. This is the best family shot we got ha ha

Alright, so this post is already huge but I wanted to include a little something about what I have been reading in my scriptures. In Alma, where King Lamoni's father gets converted and allows the missionaries throughout all of the land and tons of people get converted, has been making me think of missionary work today. I include in my prayers for hearts of leaders to be softened and missionaries to go into their countries but I don't think I really saw it happening like I can now. Many of the countries have hard hearted leaders and may even be a people that hate America or the LDS religion, but think of how passionately the Lamanites hated the Nephites. I believe peoples hearts can change and that we need to pray for that with great faith that the Lord will provide a way in his time. Just some thoughts :)

We are so very excited to see the Findley family in the near future! Drive safe and be ready to party. We love you all. Hope your summers are fantastic!!!!

Congrates!!! 🎓

Congratulations to my Bryce Green for graduating from Wyotech this last weekend!  I am so proud of him!  He was given multiple honors and had a special tassel (the white one) and ropes recognizing him as a member of the National Technical Honor Society!  He was also recognized as the Eagle Tech President.  All in all he walked a total of three times for all his recognitions.  He worked so hard :)

We also really appreciated all the support from the fam!

We also want to thank the Ross family for coming to show their support early :)

We loved spending time with family and cannot wait to hopefully be home soon!  Love you :)
