Free Couch!

So today I went to habitat to look for some more decor for my craft show booth. I actually found some great stuff, but what was really exciting was a free couch sitting there. I asked if it was really free and they said yes, so Link and I sat on it and waited for our friend to come with his truck :) we had to keep it safe from others grubby hands! Lol

It is actually an awesome couch and super firm, almost like no one sat on it EVER. Also, we got a sweet surprise later when we found out it has a hideaway bed!! So lots of sleeping room for visitors :)

Here's the before shot (the cushions are behind it), and a pic of it with a slipcover cause the faded red is just not my taste :)

We love free furniture in this family! :)

Link kept asking all day to go play outside, but it has been raining all day. Finally I decided he should learn why we say you don't play in the rain...because it is cold and wet. So here is Link's first "playing in the rain" experience :)

It actually backfired a little bit, but it was well worth it! And pay close attention to the but jiggle he does after coming in the second time while he is laughing hysterically at himself.

The Greens!

I feel lame that we haven't updated for a while but things are very similar to my last update. Still busy. I finished my first block of student teaching, yay! It's crazy I have less than two months to go before I graduate! My new block is in a middle school with over 1400 students. That's a lot more than the 400 at my last one. I'm trying to ease into this experience more so than the last one so I'm not going too crazy :). Bryce is finally cutting back a little with work so he can try to get rid of some of his stress. He has about one day off a week and is loving it :) His latest project is building our new bed frame. I'll be sure to post pictures when it's finished but he's cruising on it! He also has a couple more motorcycle paint jobs lined up so that will keep him busy. We are both doing great. Looking forward to the girls joining us this weekend for another attempt to go boarding. We love seeing your posts! Special happy birthday to Grandma Bailey, we love you!

Grammy and Papa Bailey

Not much going on with us old people. Papa is working a ton, lots going on at Atkinson; and he has been pretty busy being Bishop. He doesn't do much fun stuff for himself, but I am sure as soon as the weather improves, he'll be drag racing the streets of Herriman on his motorcycle. That makes him happy!
Grammy, well I've been sick more than I have been healthy. I guess those last 4 months, 2 hours a day at the gym are finally paying off (please note the sarcasm!). I broke some sort of record at Jordan Valley Hospital for the largest kidney stone ever. So big it had to be blasted into a hundred miserable little stones to pass. That took 3 weeks and counting to recover from and now I am hit with whatever the current bug is where I am coughing up a lung and have no voice (Charley and dad like that :)
But, I'm trying to not let it keep me down. I took the girls to Logan and we had a blast. Having lunch with a few friends this week and that always makes me happy!
Charley is on cloud nine, she made the varsity team for Herriman Lacrosse, big deal for a Sophmore!!! So congrats to her!!!!!
