I got called this week by SLUG magazine, asking if they could do a product review on my book clutches. It is kind of a big deal and it will come out before Craft Lake City so it may increase sales (if they get a good review that is!). The pictures I posted are of the book clutch I sent them for review.

I am really excited about this, and it happened at just the right time because I had been asked earlier this week by Craft Lake City if I was available for media opportunities to advertise my book clutches, but I couldn't because we will not be in Utah in time.

Now I don't have to feel to bad because at least I will be in SLUG magazine :) yes their name is weird but they are a really big local magazine in Salt Lake City :)

Just wanted to share with you guys!! Hope all is well :)

Green Summer

I finally feel like it's time for summer!!  YAY!  Now all I need is my assistant to get back in town so I'm not working 9-5 every day..

Bryce and I put on a big dinner for all our senior citizens this summer and it was a great hit :) It was a dutch oven chuck-wagon dinner that Shelly and Howard catered for us.  I provided some entertainment on the guitar and we just had a good time.

Bryce has also been busy completing more custom paint jobs.  Here are some pictures of the bike he just finished for JJ Paxman:

I am very proud of him and we have all been amazed with his new airbrushing skills!

We were able to go to a Bee's game with all the girls and their dates.  Maybe Marrie will post one of those pictures...?

We went a motorcycle ride with the Green family up to Park City.  We had five motorcycles and then Howard, Shelly, and the kids in the white mustang leading the way.  It was my first time going on the Alpine Slide.  I was pretty scared because Richard (bro-in-law) had previously ripped quite a bit of his arm off going down one but after seeing all the little kids go and learning that I can control my own speed, I got up the nerve and had a great time!

We are looking forward to more summer activities to come.  Love you all!

Ellie Family, I mean Ross Family update!

Who's the cutest cub on the block?! Ellie! We love to snuggle her up in this cute little pink polar bear outfit that mom got for her! She is just adorable! :)

Ellie Afton Ross. Can't believe she is getting so huge. She's just over 6 weeks old and though taking care of her exhausts me, it also makes me extremely happy. I sure love being a mom!

Jordan and I love taking Ellie on walks in her pouch!

She's already such a diva!

Jordan loves how cute her face is when you burp her ha ha

Well I know this post was mainly about Ellie but so is my life at the moment :) She sure is loved around her and spoiled by all who surround her. It was a fun father's day on Sunday with a great family gathering at the Galloway's new house. Ellie and I gave Jordan some under shirts and a plaque with a mold of her hand and foot on it. Now we can always remember how tiny she is! Happy father's day to you other fathers!

I got to go with Ellie, mom, Charley, Mitchell and Caden to Seven Peaks yesterday. I love the water! I'm going to start putting my season pass to use! Thanks for buying it for me parentals!

We are very much looking forward to the Findley's visit and the meeting of Link and Ellie. Hope all is going well for you other families. You are constant in our prayers. Love you!

Today was an excellent day :) I got to help participate in my friend Courtney's baptism. Sometimes I get to go with the missionaries to teach sisters and Courtney was someone I got to help teach. It has been a great experience getting to know her better and share my testimony with her. Not to mention, she is now a really great friend :)

I got to make a trade with someone on etsy, who wanted a book clutch. Lucky for me she owns a vintage shop and I found the most amazing jacket to make the trade with! I took a picture to share and link saw, so he asked if he could take a picture in his coat too :) such a goof
Not much to report on the home front. Still working on downstairs bathroom at a snail pace ( I
'm sure Marrie and Jordan don't appreciate that ). Dad not really interested in helping :) I'm sure he's got other things on his mind. And I haven't been feeling well now for 2 weeks, but finally broke down and went to the doctors and found out I have another ulcer!!! But good news, we are not as bad as the point for surgery this time, so lots of meds to take and hopefully will be back in the game soon. I bought a new couch and was suppose to pickup today, but kids are using the car to go to the Bee's game today, so not sure when I will get to go get it. It is for my future living room, and I'm excited! Will post a picture when I actually get it and set it up.

Link has been slightly adorable while playing pretend lately, and I quietly got a glimpse of it. I have to laugh now because I thought he was speaking jibberish at one point, but turns out my son is just bilingual. No big deal.

Ayudame in spanish means: Help me :)

I am pretty sure he learned that from Diego :)

My Week :)

So my life has been a little trying these last few days.  Monday i got my wisdom teeth removed through JeanBrown Research.  I was at the facility from 6am-10:45pm.  Tuesday I had 7 hours of class.  Today (Wednesday) I had an exam in my physiology class and got drug tested which also came with 2 needle pokes :(

Actually, this sounds worse than it has been :) My grades may not be the best at the moment, but school is getting my attention now.  I have received awesome support from the family and my roommate Natalie!
Flowers and a card from the parents accompanied with a fridge full of recovery food.

Cook, cleaner, moral supporter :)
Sorry, i don't know how to rotate the photos :P

Link is growing up so fast! And getting braver every second....ok, he still screamed when dad showed him a turtle through the car window, but he did overcome his fear of heights today and I am so proud of him :)
